Our Pitches

Our pitches are thoughtfully spaced, allowing you to be as sociable or as private as you choose. Winding paths and gentle twists lead to hidden pitches, creating a great space for exploring and discovering your own special spot.

When booking, you can select your individual pitch using the site map on the booking page, where you’ll also find a short description of each pitch to help you choose the one that’s right for you.

Every pitch includes a picnic bench and firepit, with logs available to purchase when booking. A number of pitches also have drinking water taps close by.

The Snuggery and Play area

The Snuggery is a cosy timber building with a lovely outlook over the play area and across the valley. With picnic tables, it’s the perfect place to relax, enjoy a meal, and meet fellow campers. The ping-pong table is always a hit, and last year we even hosted our first Snuggery ping-pong tournament, with campers of all ages turning up to play or cheer from the sidelines.

Our play area has monkey bars, swings and basket ball and we are continuing to develop this area.

Washrooms

We have two shower and toilet blocks, each with its own washing-up area. The shower rooms are generously sized and provide both hot and cold water. In each communal area you’ll also find charging points for mobile phones and iPads.

Communal fridge-freezers are available in the washing-up areas for guests to use.

A dedicated waste area is located next to the main shower block, and we actively encourage recycling.

The Tuck Shack

+

During peak periods, The Tuck Shack, run by our daughter Emily, stocks all those little campsite treats — cold cans, sweets, crisps and snacks — perfect for an easy treat without leaving the site. You’ll also find handy essentials such as torches, marshmallows, toasting sticks, bunting and logs.

The Tuck Shack is a firm favourite with children, especially as even our youngest campers love the independence of popping in on their own to buy a Chupa Chups.
